REIKI translates to: Universal Life Force Energy
REI – meaning Universal Spirit and KI – meaning energy or life force,
REIKI is a hands on healing which promotes deep relaxation, producing balance and harmony between mind, body and spirit, supporting overall well-being. Enhanced wellness, reduced anxiety and stress, and dealing more effectively with life challenges and illness are some of benefits of regular sessions. A wonderful addition to your health and well-being plan, Reiki does not interfere with other forms of healing, treatments or medications, and often enriches the benefits of many other modalities.
Each individual’s experience of a session is unique, and often times profound. Clients are fully clothed and hands placed on the body in various locations based on individual needs. Sessions last 45 – 60 minutes. There is no “typical” experience of Reiki, therefore the only way to describe it, is to experience it.
Julie trained in REIKI in the UK in the 1980’s, and has been practising this “Universal Life Force” energy modality since this time. Increasing her skills and understanding through Continuing Professional Development.
